TUV Empowers GUSHI Quality Inspection
Short answer. Our test center does not work on its own authority. TÜV Rheinland orders the tests and supervises them; our own engineers run them. The appointment covers 11 EN, DIN and ISO standards — diamond blades, drill bits, bonded and coated abrasives, wire brushes, wood augers.
What that certificate actually is
Buyers send us this poster and ask whether we are "TÜV certified". We are not, and we would rather say so than let it slide. What we hold is a Certificate of Appointment — TÜV Rheinland authorized our laboratory to carry out testing by its order and under its supervision.
| Item | On the certificate |
|---|---|
| Certificate type | Certificate of Appointment, not product certification |
| Number | UA 50714746-0001 |
| Issued | 26 March 2026 |
| Laboratory audit | ISO/IEC 17025, applicable clauses, by a TÜV Rheinland auditor |
| Audit report | CN23XPQ-001 |
| Valid | until the next scheduled audit, or up to 12 months, at TÜV Rheinland's discretion |
Splitting that hair matters. A purchaser who has done this before will ask what kind of paper it is, and a supplier who blurs the difference sounds like every other supplier. The precise version is also the verifiable one: the audit was carried out against ISO/IEC 17025 clauses and recorded under a report number, not written by a marketing department. The lab sits on our manufacturing side in Huzhou, Zhejiang — you can read more about that on our About Us page.
The 11 standards, and what each one is for
| Standard | Covers | Why it matters to you |
|---|---|---|
| EN 847-1:2017 | Woodworking tools — milling tools, circular saw blades | safety requirements for the wood-cutting end of the range |
| EN 13236:2019 | Superabrasive products (diamond, cBN) | the standard behind every mandatory marking on a diamond blade |
| EN 13743:2017 | Coated abrasives | flap discs, sanding sheets, abrasive rolls |
| EN 1083-2:2024 | Power-driven brushes | wire brushes for grinders |
| EN 12413:2019 | Bonded abrasives | grinding wheels and stones |
| DIN 1414-1:2006 | HSS twist drills, long series | length series and tolerances |
| DIN 1414-2:1998 | HSS twist drills, extended series | the same, in extended lengths |
| DIN 338:2006 | HSS twist drills, short series | the everyday jobber drill |
| DIN 6444:2021 | Wood bits — auger bits | augers: hardness range and marking |
| DIN 7487:2020 | Wood bits — two-flute twist drills | stepped and full-length shanks |
| ISO 9227:2022/A1:2024 | Corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres | salt spray — how a coating survives |
What is in the lab
19 pieces of professional testing equipment
6 major testing capabilities, across diamond blades, drill bits and grinding tools
6+ international and industry standard systems in use: EN, ISO, FEPA, GB
4 professional testing engineers on the certification
The photos on our poster come off the floor, not out of a stock library: a cutting rig with a coolant line, a CNC unit, an inspection bench with a dial gauge, someone measuring a wheel. Across them you see the three things a tool buyer actually worries about — will it cut, will it stay concentric, will it hold hardness.
